    Thanks Phil!! :t: Checked in Internet and, yes, this is what I was looking for!! Certainly it is an Assasin Bug! Knowing which is species will be tricky indeed, tough. But at least I know where to look now!! Thanks again! :t:

    2 Grasshoppers for ID, C Spain

    Found these two in El Pardo, outskirts of Madrid city in June the 12th. Probably they are very common but I simply have no idea about Grasshoppers. Would love to know what they are. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!! :t:

    I know I have seen pictures somewhere of something similar with that odd proboscide but I cannot find them now, when I am too curious as I have seen one in real life. Any ideas of the species or at list what family it belongs to? The picture was taken in the mountains of Madrid in middle June...

    Damselflies for ID, Spain

    I think this two cuties are teneral damsels and I am a bit lost. Can anybody help with ID? Both pictures were taken in the same place, Rivas Vaciamadrid, in the southern part of Madrid province, C Spain. The first one was taken in early May and the second at the beginning of September.
