    Hi Stew Your Common Blue MAY have been the Southern Common Blue, Polyommatus icarus. I personally can't tell them apart but it is supposed to be on the islands. Martin

    They're reasonably common but often hard to see - unless in flight. I've also seen them on the Arta peninsula. September may be a little too late for them.

    Hi - it's definitely a moth (caddis tend to sit with the antennae pointing forewards). Take a look at the Ash bud moth, Prays fraxinella.
