Oh thanks alot for all your great comments. ammadoux- I used the 70-200f4 IS lens with the 1.4 converter attached. We saw the Buzzard in a field right by the road, there was a verge of grasses so maybe that helped. He just didn't seem bothered by us although I didn't try to get out of the car.

    The 7D has landed!!!

Just thought I would update you re my 7D. I returned it to the suppliers and they sent me out another one. The difference is fantastic. I have been trying it out over the past couple of weeks and am very pleased with it. I knew the original one was faulty and am so pleased I returned it.

Buzzards usually fly off when they see me coming but this one just carried on looking for worms. So I was able to take a few nice shots.

Faulty camera Hi there 7D users, I recently purchased the 7D and after a spending a few days using intensively found that I could not get images without really bad noise even at iso 400 the noise was really bad. I did lots of comparison shots with my 20D and the images on the 20D had less noise...

On a recent visit to the RSPB island of Ramsey we were priveleged to be on the island with only 3 other people and were lucky to be able to get close to this beautiful bird which was perched on the cliff edge. The weather was superb and I recommend the island to anyone who is in the area.
