    X C not working on my friends iPhone now. Their email address is no longer valid so looks like I'm stuffed. Pity, as I would have been more than happy to pay for the app. Other options are nowhere near as good.

    Works fine on my friends Iphone,. Android seems to be the problem. If there is a problem, disappointed Aves Vox or Xeno Canto have not commented to that effect.

    Having used Aves Vox on my 2 android phones, for a few years, the app no longer works on either. I've reinstalled it a couple of times but to no avail. Anybody else having problems? ,

    Has anyone noticed their NL Pure binoculars misting up?

    I purchased a pair of 10x42 NLs a couple of days ago and whilst using them with specs have no problem. Without specs, and the eyecups fully extended, they soon fogged/misted up. As i say, because i wear specs it's not a problem but if i didn't it would be a deal breaker.

    I realise that ergonomics are subjective which is why i said apart from ergonomics. interesting that you preferred the ELs. Thanks for your comments

    Apart from the ergonomics and wider field of view are NL Pures optically superior to the Field Pro? I was wondering if there is some data rather than subjective opinion.

    I spoke to JHWR re the bill pattern of his bird he had Tuesday. It did have red and black in the bill,so not the same bird.Would be interesting to have comments on Andy's photos.

    Think there could be two as JWHR's bird appeared to have a paler mantle.Also i think the bill showed some dark marking alongside the red but my memory is not so great these days.Will ask John when i see him.
