    I am also worried if this camera is suitable for taking pictures of birds in other circumstances than sunny day :) I saw many pictures of birds taken with Sony RX10 IV and almost all of them were done with very low ISO, f around 4-4,5 and shutter time 1/250-1/350 s. These are settings probably...

    which ISO is still acceptable ( has minimal noise ) ? My old Pentax produces good quality picture at 3200 ISO and acceptable at 6400...

    is it true that camera is completely ready for taking pictures within 20 sec after switching it on ? In bird photography it is millenia... I red such opinion somewhere in the net. I am just curious

    it is even more temptating when someone plans to visit other continent or distant country with different avifauna - almost all birds are unknown, it is hard to bond them to any group not say about species, so camera is used first, binos next. And , what's more - in some of these countries big...

    and how is it with shooting birds in flight? I mean three situations - the bird approaches (or moves away), the bird starts vertically from the ground and the bird flies across the observer in relation to the observer.

    I wonder about performance of autofocus - did anyone tried to take picture of birds in flight ? Or warblers in foliage ? They are difficult for any camera, but some of them do their job... And samples :-) at full resolution, please :-)

    Santa Cruz de La Sierra - about 300-500 m ASL. Local campesions burned what was left at their fields... And in this smog I have seen many raptors flying there and by. At picture 1 there is Turkey Vulture with some small, uidentified hawk, picture 2 shows probaby the same small hawk with another...

    all pictures were made in area between Santa Cruz de la Sierra - 300 - 500 m asl and Samaipata 1500-1700 m asl PS about swallow - I have found it in my book , but I was not quite sure about my identification, pictures 1,1 and 1,2 - problam for me is that the same species has so different tail...
