    Ruff it will have to be Andrew, I was finishing a coffee in the visitor centre before the drive home and 20 minutes previous there was probably 6 experienced birders in there who would have known them no problem. Such is life ;)

    Fowlsheugh With the AWPR open now it's about a 20 minute drive to Fowlsheugh from Westhill. A pleasant sunny morning but still a bit on the chilly side, all the usual suspects on show incl 4 Puffins,(shame about the smell) and a pair of Stonechat below the car park, may have been fledglings...

    Westhill, Bullfinch Doesn't get much easier than this, view from my armchair, 3, possibly 4 Bullfinch on Wellgrove Road in trees between Fraser & Henderson Drive. Been here most of the week on and off feeding on the new buds. Jim

    Torry owl I was around the Ness yesterday for a couple of hours with nothing out of the ordinary to report, dropped by today with wife in tow, (who is not into birding in any form) and met this beauty near the Battery car park. Headed off and landed on the small hill behind the allotments. Jim

    Loch of Skene area, a nice flock of finches round the back of the loch, advised to me whilst down the loch yesterday and still there about 2 hours later so may still be around today, circa 50-100 including Chaffinch, Yellowhammer, Reed Bunting, Brambling, a few Tree Sparrow around as well.     Quite a large flock of these distant at Loch of Kinnordy Tuesday 16th. Never landed probably a flock of over 100 and these are heavily cropped. Rather grey day. Need an id obviously. Jim
