    exotic looking moth - UK

    Yes, just like that. I'm puttin the "red" down to the fact it was going dark and that i'm colourblind. they say it is quite common, but I've never seen one before and although i am not into moths I'm sure that would catch my eye

    exotic looking moth - UK

    I was in my granddad's garden in wigan. he lives very close to woodland and farmland. the moth was the size of a 5 pence piece, black/dark red body and wings. it had a yellow flash over both wings. It had antennae 2 or 3 times the size of it's body. I think it was a moth, but I'm not sure
