Nikon HG vs Ultravids

Well after a few outings with the HGLs, i was very impressed. Plus points for me were: The weight, bridge and focus knob. Being 10X bins the wide bridge and a nice weighty feel helped keep the bins steady and felt very comfortable to hold. For me the focus knob position at the objective end is... -

Hello people, after extensive research i cannot decide between these two compacts. I have just sold a pair of Opticrons, and i am looking for a nice compact glass (8x20 or 10x25) that shall be my only pair of bins for travel etc.... for now anyway. Ive plucked for 10s over 8s for extra detail... -

Ed50 Or Kowa
Id usually go for a 60mm scope over any 50mm scope for obvious reasons, but the ED50 seems as good as most 60mm scopes, however the difference would only be noticed around 40x. I will be using @20-30x EP fixed so i dont think i would notice any difference between the two, and as it stands the... -

Ed50 Or Kowa
Hi, tried the nikon but not the kowa. There is 2 scopes, then Kowa comes with 2 EPs (fixed and zoom) The Nikon comes with one EP. Both are nice scopes ones a 60mm non ed the other (Nikon) 50mm ed. Any suggestions. -

Pocketable compacts under 200
Hi all. Been looking for a lightweight, waterproof, compact bin. I know Opticron are excellent value for money. They make a range BGA T PC OASIS 8X24. They look like good bins for 150, they are nitrogen filled, fmc, and very lightweight. I cant find any reviews on these anywhere. Does anyone own...
