    Crow/Raven, PA

This zoo is local and has many birds (and animals) that I felt terrible for. @ Red-tails, 2 Barn Owls, a golden and Bald Eagle, Barred owl, and two Peregrine Falcons. The wolves and the lynx/bobcats looked rather sad. Of course they were probably in because of injury. Thanks for the help...

    Crow/Raven, PA

Hi all, I know this is for wild birds and I apologize but it's really bugging me. This guy was in a pen at a local zoo and labeled Raven but it was clearly calling perfectly as a crow before I even saw the pen and said to my gilfriend "weird it sounds like that crow is in an exhibit". I feel...

    Gull ID, Pennsylvania

Hi all, I was fishing today in Pike County NE PA and found this lone gull. Was wondering if it can be id'd from these pictures. At first I thought it was an osprey as it was coming head on but it turned and I realized it was a gull. Thanks, Matt

Sounds like an owl, but I can't find it!

Sounds very good for a Great Horned. As for finding it, it would be really hard to find them as by walking up on them they would more than likely go silent and/or fly without you even knowing they left. If it's on private property I wouldn't trespass and ask the owner for permission to owl on...

    Gull help, SE PA

Hi all, I can't seem to figure out whether this is a LBBG or a Herring Gull. At first I thought LBBG but now the more I look at it and after watching it in the scope for a bit I'm leaning towards Herring. Anyone help? Thanks, Matt
