    Royfinn that is a very nice set up! I have the ED50 as well and have a tripod similar to what you have. I also have and Nikon 82 ED and have a heavier tripod for it. I love both of these spotters esp. with quite a few of the eyepieces.

    Tripod and head needed

    I have the Manfroto 501 head and it has worked great for a Nikon 82ED spotter, Nikon 50ED spotter and also used it off the back porch with a 100ED refractor. Tripod is the Bogan 3236 ! I have quite few long distance places I can look at including Stone Mt. [in Pa.]

    Hi Bob, Ha!Ha! I a have not seen that MOLCET technique posted on here for quite some time. Bob I had my 8x32 SE out the other day and I agree with you about how really good these are!! I have Brock's email address and did contact him quite some time ago.
