    I didn’t put that to gauge response. It was North Queensland, near Townsville. Not a popular area (maybe a little under recorded?) for them but a good number of records coming up along the east coast further south so could have been part of a little fall.

    Seems to a be pretty dark with a lack of pale fringing on the wing coverts, maybe the bib extends typically further down the wing implying the arched breast band? Satin?

    Not really a gull person but this one stood out in amongst the other Herring Gull. Had what can only be described and a beady black eye and a very long pretty parallel bill. It just stood out as being ‘different’. Can’t recall ever seeing one other than a 1w so have very limited experience with...

    Curious, this lesser white front, earlier reported as escape, now news comes out not indicating this, did something change or just no one is bothering putting esc. now?
