    Conquest 8x30 BT vs. Conquest HD model

    I saw a pair of Zeiss Conquest 8x30 BT* and I was unaware of this model of Conquest which must be from prior years and is no longer in production. Is the glass in the current 32mm and 42mm Conquest HD supererior? Experiences with the prior conquest bt generally positive?

    Ocular Lens Size

    My issue is the latter you mentioned. Too short and hard to maintain. Very sad when this happens. The conquests I received in the mail yesterday are really causing this issue.

    Not sure I follow. Ocular diameter is a physical characteristic but AFOV is a result of physical attributes no?

    Is the inside diameter of a new set of 8x32s going to be the same as reported here? If you had an opportunity to buy them like new from a shop for $600 is that better than anything in that price range? Sorry to bring this thread back to life
