    First one was on a phone the other on a camera. I am getting some more photos too post. I appreciate they look different but they are the same Bird. Baltic gull is only a sub species and not tickable so we have nothing to gain we would just like to know what people think

    My mate had this gull in Cornwall yesterday. I went down to meet him and to confirm what he saw. He had a common gull sized Bird with very long primaries and a dark mottled back. It had a fairly clean head but was dark around the eye. Unlike all the other gulls it was very wary of us. After...

    Had this Canada on my local pond in par Cornwall. Any ideas whether its a sub species or a hybrid. It has small beak narrow cheek patch the black on the neck is shorter than usual and the plumage is fairly dark over the chest. Thanks for any suggestions
