    Yes it's that one. I also question the need for yet another Australian field guide whilst acknowledging that books from CSIRO Publishing tends to be of top quality (also tends to be very expensive).

    It would seem that publication of the Peterson Field Guide to Birds of Northern Central America is imminent. I have not seen any of the plates or species accounts featured in this book but it will surely be a welcome update to Howell (1995).

    I would say your best alternative would be to borrow or trying to find a reasonably cheap copy of "A Guide to the Birds of Wallacea: Sulawesi, the Moluccas and Lesser Sunda Islands, Indonesia" by Coates and Bishop (1997)...
