Decent tripod for less than £100?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hahnel-Triad-Compact-C5-Integrated/dp/B00HVZ9IM8 I bought one of these for my ED50, with the intention of using it very occasionally for short breaks. Turns out I use it everyday. It's solid, full height (with an angled scope) and folds to about 12", despite the...

    Canon G7X Digiscoping

Seemingly having the same spec as the Sony RX100 I'm a little confused as to why the Canon G7X doesn't appear among the dying breed of digiscoping compacts. Is this camera totally unsuitable for digiscoping?

Why would you buy a Zeiss HT over an SF?

Greens, reds, blues and neutrals?? Swarovski Repairs

Probably best to send it straight to Swarovski. I sent mine via the UK agent and received it back within two weeks fully restored to new condition.

    Collins Bird App

In that case I'm glad I scanned my old copy to PDF. Disappointing that they've chosen to supply just the Iphone/Ipad. I suspect it will be too small for the Iphone's tiny screen and doubt that Ipad users will venture out into the field with their overpriced tablets - even if they've enough...

    Extremadura-Red-necked Nightjar

We had Red-necked Nightjars here at the beginning of June over the road at dusk. Up to four White-rumped Swifts at the Castillo De Monfrague on three separate visits. Best from the castillo but also seen on the walk up and as low down as Pena Falcon. Mark
