    Novice starting set

Thank you for your answer, What do you think for the following setup Sennheiser ME66/K6 Rycoste Classic-Softie Kit Zoom H5 or Zoom H6 This seems more lightweight and less expensive than going with Telinga set, and maybe a better choice to start.

Well this turns out to be my own monologue, but seems like im going with sennheiser ME66/K6 with a rycose windshield, still searching for a recorder with that setup.

    Novice starting set

Maybe I need to narrow my question a bit. Would it be better to go with a Telinga MK2 set and buy firstly the microphone like ME62. Or should I go with a shotgun mic like sennheiser ME66, and ignore the telinga kit. My biggest issue is to decide the recorder phantom powered or not and shotgun...

    Novice starting set

Hi Sry about creating a new thread about this issue, have been puzzling with the equipment to start recording bird/wildlife sounds together with my videos and only for audio only purposes. So my question is quite simple, what equipment would you recommend in the 1000$ category to start...

    Videoscoping and dust

Yeah there is of course the post processing option but wouldn't want to go that road, like I said still images are manageable but not video. Blows my mind at the moment how people can get so dust free videos with dlsr I have almost brand new camera and still have dust that shows up. Dont know if...

    Videoscoping and dust

Thx for the quick reply, I also first suspected the camera sensor, just wasnt sure could the scope+eyepiece and adapter add more spots. There are no visible dust spots when using the scope, and max zooming to a bright white skye. Tested the camera with my objective, haven't used it in a week...

    Videoscoping and dust

Dont know if this is the appropriate subforum to ask this, but... How do you deal with dust in videoscoping(doable in still images to clear them), or is this caused by my equipment. I have the Kowa 883 scope with TSN-P7 adapter and the 25-60zoom with Nikon D7200 camera, and I cant stand the...

    Kowa 883 with nikon D7200

Sure, 1.Which one is better -TSN-PA7 D-SLR+T2 mount seems the best and cheapest option to enable the whole scope range and to easily switch between scoping/photographing. 2.Does the new TSN-PA7 really have glass on the bottom end to remove the possible dust issue to camera ? -Yes the new...

    Kowa 883 with nikon D7200

Hello I purchased a kowa 883 scope for wildlife watching, but with the need to photograph im looking into the digiscoping world also. I already own a 150-600mm lens but want to try how much more reach scope can give. Im worried about the possible vignetting and durability of the angled...

    Kowa 883 digiscoping options

Yup, I trid to to glue the iphone 6 hard plastic to my iphone 6 plus cover, and I got it centered with a ruler but apparentely that wasnt enough, so im waiting for kowa to release a iphone 6 plus version or then looking for a third party version like this one...

    Kowa 883 digiscoping options

Im still a little confused how you can eliminate vignetting with an dlsr camera attached to the scope because of the lack of zooming compared to compact cameras. Can you eliminate the vignetting when using a fixed 50mm lens, thus decreasing the image quality ? I tried to use the kowa iphone...

    Kowa 883 digiscoping options

At the moment my only eyepiece is TE-11WZ 25-60X. Okey so the dust issue should be solved with the glass in the new TSN-PA7, the only one I saw live didin't have glass on it, is the model number still the same in it ? Would this be better option than the 50mm lens with t10 adapter ?

    Kowa 883 digiscoping options

Thx for your reply, I own a 150-600mm lens already and have been shooting with it alot, got into scoping lately for the enjoyment of just following animals closer, but would still like to try digiscoping for various reasons. Ofcourse the are cons in digiscoping compared to just using a telephoto...
