    I would have said warbling vireo....but I have never seen a warbling vireo with the tannish colour that flows down the wing.....This bird was also exceptionally close so that could possibly be the reason why I am seeing that....

    I am probably incorrect with the height....I took a rough guess... I don't remeber exactly how high it was....after doing some research the peak I climbed, deception peak, was just over 12,000...my mistake...

    This beautiful male is misplaced by nearly a thousand miles, as a male and a sub-adult female, for this first time EVER, have successfully built a nest in New Hampshire. The closest ever reported nesting before this has been in Atlanta, Georgia.

    Grackles in Florida

    I was reasonably sure that the first two were common grackles but the third one was noticeably larger. I see common grackles on my feeder all the time and I have never seen one this large or with the coloring (I am aware it is very variable) that this third bird had.
