    Hi. Not trying to publicise my blog but most of the wildlife shots on there are taken with the Sigma 150-500mm. Theres a variety of differing quality as you'll see but I would recommend the lens if you want a good low cost option. Just click on the link below. Russ

    Nothing good - Olive-tree Warbler, Mugimaki Flycatcher etc. First Common Starling for Goa...

    Hi to all. Could any members shed any light on this gull? Pic was taken in Lerwick on 10th March Seems to show pro Caspian features but I have concerns over bill length/color and bird's small size - presumably a female? Thanks in advance Russ

    Hi Aetos We saw the Green heron (yank 'race') very well on the 6th Feb in the marina at Berre L'etang it also gets on the rocks along the shore and in the canal to the west of the marina We also looked for it on the 8th but couldn't find it that day Good luck Russ
