    I can't confirm the blackcap, but I did see the ring necked parakeets visiting the feeders and flying around the reserve.

    Had great views of an otter today on the moors pool around half one aswell as a brief visit from a kingfisher. A picture and video of the otter from today aswell as pictures of the kingfisher on my flickr because for some reason I was unable to upload them on here. Link below...

    Dowles Brook, Wyre Forest

    Had a visit today and was pleased by the appearance of two dippers and a kingfisher flying up and down dowles brook. As I crossed the bridge by knowles mill, there were many birds to be seen such as nuthatch, tree creeper and a large group of long tailed tits.

    In the many times I've visited the valley I've never seen a ringed necked parakeet only heard them. Could any tell me the best place to see them in the valley. Thanks Sam

    Kingfishers

    Hi marko I visited there about 4 times now and have seen it everytime on the main pool just where it enters by the river and on the next pool up I see it on a reed there. Hope you see it good luck

    Hi kingfisher blue,name is Sam by the way. Had a great time at hillers we saw: 4 Fallow deer ( 2 fawns ) 1 male pheasant And the usual blue tits etc thanks for the recommendation,how did you get on ?

    Peregrine falcon still about, just seen two of them flying of the bt tower. Lovely to see!
