    Dreadful customer service

While Leica has their faults, they're still my favorite optics company. My reasoning is: 1. Well thought out design 2. Robustness 3. Compact size 4. Looks 5. Optical quality 6. Long lasting durability - I expect Leicas to last many years 7. Small German company nature 8. Innovative - many...

    Dreadful customer service

It was around $500 on my BN (with a discount).

    Dreadful customer service

Oh come on now. That video was not sexist - cheesy yes, sexist no. The lady even had nice old BGATs. ;) Zeiss' marketing is not its strength. I'm waiting for more communication on the 54s but nothing...

    Extender for angled Leicas

Anyone know why the extender does not work with straight scopes? I would like one for my Leica as well.

    New Zeiss HT's in 8 & 10x54

Mike, When will these be available for purchase in the US? Thanks

    New binoculars

Like what was already said - do not sell your Trinovids! I have the HDs and I mostly grab the Trinovids. Both are excellent.

UV filter size for Leica Apo 65

Gents, I have never used a filter on a spotting scope before, only camera lenses. Are you saying that any 67MM lens filter will fit the APO 65? For instance a B&W filter. Can someone post a link to a filter that will fit? Thank you and good birding.

Here are the new Victorys: Victory HT

Henry - how much brighter do you think they'll be in low light than the 8x56? Curious minds want to know.

Leica Still Tops In My Book...

Mac, You raise some excellent points. I have both the HD's and BN's in 8x32. The BN's are still my favorite. In fact I just sold my Nikon Superior SE 8x32 because I never used them. Always pick up the BN's. - Good optics - Great handling - Nice focus - Nice cover - Small size, but but...

    Leica warranty

I love Leica's products a lot...but they set incredible standards for poor service based on my experience. It's like they don't know what they're doing (USA), and they don't care. For that reason I cannot recommend the brand. For $900 you can purchase better optics new. Good luck!

    APO 65 Digiscoping

Looks like not many people are digiscoping with Leica. I wonder if the Panasonic LX 7 would work well. It looks like a very nice camera. Cheers all. ;)

    APO 65 Digiscoping

Hello, I have the APO 65. What are the best digiscoping options for this scope? Would the Panasonic LX 7 be compatible? I'd prefer not to buy a Leica D Lux. Thanks!

Used Leica 8x32 BN or New Vortex Viper 8x32 HD

Vortex will undoubtedly have better customer service. And I'll bet the better view also. After all the BN is a twenty year old design. That being said the BN is my favorite binocular and I take it every time I can. It's just awesome overall. That's hard to explain unless you use it every...
