Osprey - BIF in your face

What I have tried So far I have tried rubbing a rock against another rock, a rock against a tree, even tried tying a red and white bandanna in a limb and then move the limb & my trusty crow call. I try to find a hiding place under their flight path. Make a noise and at the same time try to...

Osprey - BIF in your face

I noticed that most all the photos I see on the net of in flight Ospreys are a side view or going away from the photographer. The Challenge: Get them to look at you. Try to see their face & eyes in the photo. Do something to get their attention but not scare them away. Make them want to check...

Momma Feeding Babies (Osprey Videos )

These were taken with a Panasonic FZ30 camera As you can see by the videos I had thunderstorms on both sides of me and the momma Osprey was having a diffulcult time staying on the edge of the nest because of the wind gusts. Her nest was moving in the wind and the gusts made it diffulcult for...

Roadrunners I haven't seen one where I live. We are up in the mountains close to the Colorado border at 8,000 feet. I think that is to high for them. roger (The Old Newbie)
