Caught him off guard, didn't you:-). I'll bet if his friends saw this, he would be the laughing stock of the neighborhood:-). Good shots, Tim

    Photoshop7 guide books

Roy, I am also interested. I just purchased an education copy, as I am a teacher in the States (much cheaper). Problem is, I have no manual, just a copy and licence:-(. Tim

    Gallery idea ?

I did add a Whitecrowned Sparrow today. I did a search, and didn't see one. Not too uncommon in Northern Indiana, but maybe it is elsewhere. Tim

My Best picture ever, take a look

Nigel, Quoting an often used saying from the States,"You the man!" I think it might be time for you to consider a book dealing with nature photography. Not just pictures and info, but also personal narration. I think some sort of diary format. It really could be a best seller. I want an...

    Second Cardinal Pic.

This is a second Cardinal picture. It is from a group I took a short time ago. I used NeatImage to clear up the noise, then cropped it and sharpened. I then used NeatImage again. I like the results. Enjoy, Tim

    Barn Owl in flight

Nigel, Please continue to post how and why. As a new digital photographer, I need all the help I can get:-). Your camera info is of great value. I finally bought a bit of camo wear, and found that if I sit quietly for a while things do start moving around;-). My problem is that the 2100UZ...

OT, to my friends at Garden web. Sorry Steve:-(

Yes, I am Back on the Garden Web, Tony:-). I hated being singled out for no reason. Mr. Spike has some hangups that I can't understand. By the way, old is usually in the mind of the beholder, rather than the eye;-). I love being 52. I also look at people older than myself as much younger...

    Tufted Titmouse (Pic)

Hello all, I was out yesterday afternoon photographing local Northern Indiana birds and was able to get a nice shot of a Tufted Titmouse. These little guys will move from branch to branch in a heartbeat. I probably took 30 pictures to get this one. Enjoy, Tim

Why is the oly not suitable for digiscoping

My 2100UZ has a 49mm ring in the front, and I have added a 180C, 1.7X adaptor to it. I understand what you mean about vignetting, but at full zoom it is hardly noticable. I have been thinking of trying it with a scope of some kind (Meade 90 comes to mind). Would I be able to compensate for...
