    Red Kite over Up Cerne at half eight this morning.

    First sighting here of House Martins this morning. Checking out the nests remaining on the houses in this road, not sure if they are 'ours' or not as yet!

    Red Kites again today, one about two miles to the SW of Sherborne mid morning and then two betweeen Yetminster and Thornford mid afternoon.

    Me again...Red Kite over my house this evening shortly before sunset, not much above roof top height so got a very good and clear look at it. Beautiful bird.

    Red Kite to the SW of Sherborne at 9.45 this morning, also one seen over Abbotsbury Hill yesterday morning around 9.20.

    Yet another Red Kite, seen this evening over fields at Up Sydling between the A37 and the A352.

    Red Kite again today, over Honeycombe Wood on the outskirts of Sherborne. There were reports elsewhere of there being 5 of them over the Boyshill area near Sherborne at the weekend.

    Long time, nothing to report, but this evening a Red Kite flew over my house pursued by two Crows.

    At last! I've heard, but regrettably not seen, my first Cuckoo of this year. Very close to home, so I'm hoping to get a chance to see it soon.

    Only just caught up with this thread owing to having been on hols myself. Great report from nearly my neck of the woods! Will watch the videos when I've caught up with myself.....;)

    First juveniles of the season....two young Blackbirds. Not sure which nest they are from, but they are already well grown. Didn't stay long enough for a piccie.:-C
