Don Hoey's review

With a large scope ( Nikon ED82A ) this head is significantly better in overall performance than any lower priced fluid head that I have tried. The scope mounting plate gives less bounce when used with a camera and being of a dovetail design is about as positive as you can get. This head is probably only bettered by heads costing twice as much. (y) (y)

Pros

  • Adjustable Pan and Tilt drag
  • Dovetailed sliding plate
  • Perfect for larger scopes
  • Easy and positive locks

Cons

  • For its price none
