- Long black over white moustachial stripe almost reaches nape
- Flesh coloured feet with dark claws
- White leading edges to primaries
Similar Species
Has a longer bill and is larger and darker than White-eared Brown Dove.
Distribution
South-east Asia: endemic to the Philippines.

- Marinduque (north-central Philippines)

- Montane forests of Negros (east-central Philippines)

- Cebu (east-central Philippines). Probably extinct

Their diet consists of seeds and fruit.
