Identification

Distribution

Asia: found in Afghanistan, China, Inner Mongolia, Pakistan, India, Eastern and Western Himalayas
Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia

Taxonomy

There are 3 subspecies:

  • A. c. haringtoni:
  • A. c. stevensi :
  • Plains of Brahmaputra River (Assam) and adjacent Myanmar
  • A. c. concinens:

Habitat

Grassland and wetland.
