[edit] Identification

[edit] Distribution

Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam.

[edit] Taxonomy

There is a proposal to split this into 3 species:

  • Phylloscopus reguloides (more narrow Blyth's Leaf-Warbler, five subspecies)
  • Phylloscopus claudiae (Claudia's Leaf-Warbler, monotypic)
  • Phylloscopus goodsoni (Hartert's Leaf-Warbler, monotypic)

However, the main taxonomic authorities has not recognized this split yet, and Opus is therefore following that.

[edit] Habitat

Moist montanes, broadleaved evergreen forest up to 2550 m.

[edit] Behaviour

They build a ball shaped nest in a recess in a bank, tree-trunk or stump; 4-5 eggs are laid.
