Crypturellus strigulosus

Identification

28cm
Reddish-brown above, throat rufous, breast grey and belly whitish.
Female: barred blackish and ochraceous above, brown legs.

Distribution

South America: found in tropical southern Amazonian Brazil, adjacent eastern Peru and north-western Bolivia.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Rainforest up to 500m.
