[edit] OverviewBuskett is the most extensive area of evergreen woodland remaining in Malta consisting of mainly Aleppo Pine with Evergreen Oak, Norfolk Island Pine and Date Palm. Wied il-Luq a small valley with a strip of deciduous woodland, mainly Ash Elm, Poplar and Oak which lies below Buskett. [edit] Birds[edit] Notable SpeciesThis area attracts many migrant passerines and is a roosting site for passage raptors including occasional Eleonora's Falcon. Not surprisingly this is a popular area with hunters.
