This family would contain only one monotypic genus, Panurus.

[edit] Taxonomy

Panuridae is a family in the Order Passeriformes.
This species was usually merged within Paradoxornithidae. However recent studies have shown that Panurus is closer related to the larks than to the parrotbills.
