If recognized, this genus would include Blue-chested Hummingbird, Charming Hummingbird, Mangrove Hummingbird, Glittering-throated Emerald including Tachira Emerald, Sapphire-spangled Emerald, Honduran Emerald, and Purple-chested Hummingbird.

These species are more often placed in genus Amazilia; Polyerata if recognized would be a genus in the Family Trochilidae.
