Genus: Rhinoplax

Description

One single species, the Helmeted Hornbill from Asia.
It differs from the three species of the genus Buceros with its markedly elongated central rectrices, its casque structure and its more complex vocalisations.

Taxonomy

Rhinoplax is a genus in the family Bucerotidae.
It is sometimes included in the genus Buceros.
