South America: found in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.

- Lower Amazonian Brazil (eastern Amazonas and Pará)
- South-eastern Brazil (Bahia and se Goiás) to eastern Paraguay and north-eastern Argentina
- Tropical northern Venezuela (Falcón to Sucre and Monagas)
- Tropical southern Venezuela (Cerro Parú in Amazonas)
