There are 2 subspecies[1]:

  • E. a. aline:
  • E. a. dybowskii:
  • Eastern Andes of north and central Peru

The specific part of the scientific name should be spelled aline and not alinae according to a recent decision by SACC

Habitat

Damp cloud forest.
