Identification

Distribution

Philippines, endemic in northern and central Luzon.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
It was formerly considered conspecific with Metallic-winged Sunbird.

Habitat

Mid-altitude mountain forest up to 1500 m and sometimes higher.
