Identification
Buff lores, dark centre to wing coverts and central tail feathers. Dark centres of primary coverts are prominent. Duller rufous wing panel.
Distribution
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species1 which in the past has been considered part of Bengal Bushlark.
The Ceylon population is sometimes separated as M. a. ceylonensis2
