Identification

10 cm (4 in)

  • Brownish-olive head and face
  • Buff lores and eye-ring
  • Dull olive-green upperparts
  • Pale yellow throat
  • Pale greenish-yellow underparts
  • Dark wings and tail
  • Brown iris

Distribution

South America: found in South East Brazil (east Santa Catarina).

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Humid, lowland evergreen forest and shrubby second growth.

Behaviour

Diet

Diet consists almost entirely of insects, and caterpillars.
