A tropical African country that lies between 4ÂºN and 5ÂºS and between 11ÂºE and 19ÂºE. It is bounded by Gabon to the west and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to the east. It is also known as Congo-Brazzaville (the city of Brazzaville is the capital) or simply the Congo.
