Identification

Distribution

Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species1.

Originally placed in genus Microxenops, then moved to Xenops and now back to Microxenops.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests.
