  • Slaty-grey crown
  • Olive-brown mantle
  • Darker wings have olive-brown edges
  • Rufous rump

Distribution

Africa
Western Africa: found in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola
Eastern Africa: Sudan, South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia

Habitat

Lowland and submontane evergreen, riverine and gallery forests.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists of a variety of insects, such as beetles, ants, moths and caterpillars.
