[edit] OverviewWet meadows and a shallow, eutrophic lake form the main habitats of this area in the south of the island of Gotland that is now a Ramsar Site. It lies on the southern side of the Faludden headland which can be a good site for seabird migration. The area is also noted for the frequent occurrence of rarities which have included Blue-cheeked Bee-eater, Greater Flamingo and Black Stork.
