Identification
13–13·5 cm (5-5¼ in); long bill and tail

Distribution
South America: found from tropical eastern Peru to northern Bolivia and adjacent western Amazonian Brazil.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Dense undergrowth in humid forests, particularly riverine. Low drainage area with xeriphytic scrub at ca. 280 m.
Behaviour
Diet
There is very little information. They appear to have a mainly insectivorous diet, while also eating some fruit.
