Sexes are similar. [edit] Similar SpeciesLooks similar to Booted Warbler and was previously considered conspecific with it. Differentiated by more whitish below, greyish above, shorter wings and longer tail and flatter crown. It rarely shows darker toes like booted. Could be confused with Blyth's Reed Warbler which has rounded tail without white outer tail feathers. [edit] DistributionNortheast Arabia to Turkestan, Afghanistan and western China. Winters in the southern Indian subcontinent and Sri Lanka. Common Summer breeder in Baluchistan and parts of Pakistan. [edit] TaxonomyThis is a monotypic species[1].
