Distribution
South America: South West Brazil (river basins in Iguaçu and Tibagi, eastern Paraná).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1] that was described as recently as 1998.
Habitat
Tall dense grass, which includes much spike-rush and is seasonally flooded.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of insects, such as bugs, cicadas, beetles and cockroach eggs.
