Tory Island is located about 9 miles off North West Donegal, Ireland

Excellent place for Corncrake, Chough, Little Tern, Arctic Tern, Puffin. Razorbill, Guillemot also present. Good place to watch Northern Gannets diving. Occasionally you may see Arctic Skua. Great Skua (Bonxie), Manx Shearwater, Great Shearwater and Storm Petrel.

Tory can be excellent for Autumn passage birds, although I've never been over during Autumn.

Area near the lighthouse is very good for birds. Corncrake, terns, gulls, ducks and geese. Lapwing and snipe too.

Cliffs on the north of the island can be good for breeding puffin, fulmar, guillemot and razorbill. (May - July)

Fields around the main village are best for seeing Corncrake. Come early - best seen in May.
