Rob Roy country. This park contains (amongst many others) Loch Lomond, Loch Katrine, Loch Venacher and the Lake of Menteith. Along with these, the mountains and forests make for a wide variety of habitats.

Capercaillie, Black Grouse, Osprey, Red Deer and Red Squirrel are the major species to be found.

Inversnaid lies on the east bank of Loch Lomond.
