Odontophorus columbianus

Identification

28–30 cm. Llow brown crest, red brown body, white throat with black streaks, breast is patterned with white teardrops outlined in black, black bill, dark greylegs.

Distribution

Venezuela.

Taxonomy

Habitat

Moist montanes in coastal mountains.

Behaviour

The diet includes seeds, fruits, insects, and worms.

6 eggs are laid which are incubated for 30 days.
