ViewsVinschgau and Texel Group (South Tirol)From Opus
[edit] OverviewThe valley of Vinschgau is a very sunny area. E.g. Naturns with 315 sunny days is one of the most sunny areas in eastern Alps. Nearby is the mountain range Texelgruppe with peaks over 3300 m. Access is e.g. from Partschins ( nearby is the highest waterfall of South Tirol, 98 m ) to hut Lodner Haus. The way is through nice canyon with different rivers. [edit] Birds[edit] Notable SpeciesCommon Kestrel, Eurasian Crag-Martin, Northern House Martin Spotted Nutcracker, White-winged Snowfinch, Black Redstart, Alpine Chough, Northern Wheatear, Rufous-tailed Rock Thrush [edit] Check-listBirds you can see here include:

The different kind of birds in alpine area is not so big. It is also possible walk around the mountain range on Meraner Hoehenweg. Under 1100m are lots of lizards. On meadow areas near rocks on mountain Sonnenberg should be Rufous-tailed Rock Thrush ( number decrease ). [edit] External LinksTo do
