Found in eastern Indonesia: Lesser Sundas, Kai Islands and Tanimbar Islands. Also in Timor-Leste.

[edit] Taxonomy

Clements accepts six subspecies:

• C. p. pollens on the Kai Islands
• C. p. floris on Sumbawa, Komodo, Rinca, Besar and Flores
• C. p. alfrediana on Lomblen and Alor
• C. p. sumbensis on Sumba
• C. p. personata on Roti, Semau, Timor, Wetar, Leti, Moa, Sermata
• C. p. unimoda on the Tanimbar Islands.
