[edit] OverviewA nature area in the SW part of Calgary with trails along the Elbow River. From what I hear, probably one of the top 3 birding sites in the Calgary area. I saw the following on 2-Sep just near the river a few hours one cool gray morning : Canada Goose 3 Common Goldeneye 1 Ruffed Grouse 2 Bald Eagle 1 Spotted Sandpiper 2 Downy Woodpecker 4 Northern Flicker 3 Blue Jay 1 Black-billed Magpie 3 American Crow 1 Black-capped Chickadee 30 Boreal Chickadee 2 American Robin 9 Gray Catbird 3 Yellow-rumped Warbler 1 White-throated Sparrow 2 American Goldfinch [edit] Check-listBirds you can see here include:

It is a drive between each area.
